Who we are

tectum - raum&zeit | filmgeräteverleih is a rental house specialised on Stereo3D and Highspeed-Equipment. Building upon long-term experiences as Instructors at different Workshops Christian Klimke and Torsten Schimmer started their series of Workshops in October 2012 as tectum.

Klimke and Schimmer were part of a wide variety of Workshops such as INSIGHT OUT, Berlinale Talente Campus, Hands ON HD, Interfilm and Sehsüchte. Together with Max Hemmo, Andreas Westphal and Sönke Kirchhof Christian Klimke and Torsten Schimmer realized the international research and advanced training project s3DNOW!. Within this project we helped companies like CineDeck, Chrosziel, P+S, Digim, Olympus and Magna Mana to enhance their Workflows and Equipments as well as provided on-the-job training. The Olympus i-Speed PL evolved from this project.

We offer high-class, relevant and inexpensive advanced education in our training facilites in Berlin. Hereby we are responsive to your ideas, wishes and needs so that you can finish your next project more efficiently.

All courses are being held on weekends and conducted by experts in small groups. Handouts will be provided to support you during your next shoot. During the day we offer drinks as well as breakfast and lunch.

Our Workshops aim to provide cost-efficient solutions for a variety of challanges on set. Therefore we focus on innovative Equipment and a creative, hands-on approach.
